Locking nut key dimensions - details?
Just got through my first winter with my 2022 NX350 H Luxury package. For the winter I had a local tire shop take off the OEM all season run flats and replace them with a new set of winters and rims.
Today I was scheduled to take off the winters and put the OEM run flats back on and I can’t find the lug nut key. Looked for it everywhere and I can only assume that when the shop took off the all seasons they didn’t put the Lexus lug nut key back in the car. (The winter set doesn’t use the original Lexus bolts)
I will call Lexus tomorrow and try and get a replacement but does anyone know what size it is and if there is any ability to get an aftermarket key? I looked all through the manual and I don’t see any reference to the locking key.
thx in advance

Your dealer should have put the info card in with your owners manual packet. That is where I have alway found it. Without that card/paper with the code, you CANNOT get a new key for it. Or at least that is what I have always been told.
Here is the web link to McGard. https://mcgard.com/automotive/wheel-locks/ That is what mine was that was included with my NX450H+ I just picked up.

OR, just switch them to regular bolts and call it a day. If a thief wants your rims and tires, they will take it with or without that locking bolt. I still have mine, until they work. I would not pay replace them though.
Agree with @toyotaman7 I didn't have a choice as they came with the vehicle I was offered. So I'm sort of stuck with them. In my opinion they are a waste of dollars. You pay for the locks then when you have a tire shop replace tires they forget to put the key back. Then you pay for them again to get them removed or to purchase a new key. More expense than value in my opinion.
My local tire shop stripped one of the locking bolt when they put on the winter tires. I had to replace all locking bolts with regular ones. These bolts are not chrome plated and can be easily stripped by impact guns although they are not supposed to use power tools to fasten them.
