The 2022 NX Luxury 350h has glass from AGC (Asahi Glass Company) headquartered in Tokyo. The front side window glass is Lamisafe and the rear side window glass is Temperlite.

Lamisafe is Laminated between two panes of glass and will provides some sound deadening. All acoustic glass is laminated, but not all laminated glass is acoustic. Here is an interesting post about the 450+ https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...errerid=161523

I saw this video that reminded me of this thread. It was a review of the new 2024 Mercedes Benz GLC coupe and he had the dealer rep with him on the video. The dealer rep said that MB made a decision based on customer feedback to ditch the run flats. He said customers didn’t like them because of the noise they produced so they all come with a full factory spare in the back tucked under the cargo lift and 4 regular tires. He said they found that most customers were taking off the run flats so they made a decision to ditch them.

 

I did it on my 450H+ at 2,800 miles. The Tire Shop asked me if I wanted the tires and I said NO, KEEP THEM. Worst tires ever produced. (In My Opinion)
