My wife has a 2020 NX and needs the android auto integration. Hers was made before the change over so does not have it as factory. Looking around, decided to get the GROM VL2 which their website says should work with her model. The installer couldn't get it to work. He finally managed to get GROM on the phone and they said that it won't work with that unit as they have updated USB ports. To me, that sounds like that would be the new model that supports Android auto already and why do they list it as compatible anyways? Curious if anyone else has tried to install the VL2 on a pre-android auto 2020 NX or on a 2019 which I thought had the same unit.

Follow on question is has anyone checked to see if it's possible to replace the unit with an updated one to get the Android auto?
