Default Mobile Assistant not hearing me

The Mobile Assistant in my 2019 NX300h isn't hearing my voice commands. So I have to make calls manually on my iPhone. I also have to hold the iPhone to my ear or use the speaker on the iPhone in order for the person I'm talking to to hear me. I've called the national Lexus number and they had me reset to the default settings but that didn't help. It seems like the microphone isn't working and I think the SOS button isn't working. Fuse possibly? Has anybody else had this issue?

Had the same exact issue on my 2018 NX, disconnecting the negative battery terminal for 5 minutes and reconnecting fixed it for me.

Thanks for responding. What made you decide to do that, if you don't mind my asking.

If you read through my post one of the members briefly talks about why removing the battery worked.

Thanks! I opened the hood yesterday and couldn't find the battery. I can't get the car to the Lexus dealer until 5/20 so I'm going to see if the local garage that removed my snow tires will do it for me.

Aha! Thanks for letting me know. I was thinking it might be in the trunk but didn't see that page in the manual. Has anyone who has disconnected the battery in the Hybrid version run into the issue of the hybrid system not restarting? I don't want to cause any problems by doing this.

I've had occasions where the microphone appears on the display with the red circle showing it's muted.
