Suddenly on my Bluetooth calls nobody could hear me. I first thought it was my phone, but then I realized the car commands aren't working either. I cant reply to texts via voice either I have no option to even speak the text anymore. So then I noticed the SOS button which is usually glowing red is off. Something must be related to that button, has anybody experienced this and knows how to fix it? The car is a 2018 NX
So I manged to fix it by disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes and have the microphone working and the SOS button is back on, but now I have a new issue. On the dash this orange light is flashing. Any ideas?

That warning light is for the parking support brake system.
From page 219 in your manual.
"Changing settings of the Parking Support Brake Function (for static objects)
This system can be enabled/disabled
on the multi-information display.
1 Press “ ” or “ ” of the meter
control switches and select .
2 Press “ ” or “ ” of the meter
control switches and select .
3 Press on the meter control
switches to enable/disable the system.
The PKSB OFF indicator comes on
when the Parking Support Brake
function is OFF (not operating).
When the Parking Support Brake function
is switched OFF, system operation
does not resume until the function is
switched back ON through the settings
screen on the multi-information
display. (System operation does not
resume by operating the engine
switch.)
■When removing and installing the battery
The system needs to be initialized.
The system can be initialized by driving the
vehicle straight ahead for 5 seconds or
more at a speed of approximately 35 km/h
(22 mph) or higher."
It sounds like you need, first, to make sure that the system is turned on. Then, because you disconnected the battery, you may need to initialize the system per the instructions from the manual.
Driving straight above 20mph worked! I'm new to all these features have a thing or two to learn thank you. Now just curious why the SOS system turned off and wouldn't turn on until a reset?

There are times when various computer controlled systems need a re-boot, and I suspect that was the case with the SOS system.
After you disconnected the battery, you were probably lucky that the one warning light was the only one you got. When the battery is disconnected, it is not uncommon to have multiple systems that need to be re-initialized, and, often, some of your personal settings will need to be redone. So, don't be surprised if, over the next few days, you discover other glitches, lost settings, etc.
I am having the same issue oh, I have an Android phones

Had new Lexus NX 300 cor only 3 weeks. Dealer disconnected battery and reset. Sos light was off and after reset became green as well. He didn't even right up a ticket and knew exactly what the problem was. Seems to be a common issue. Thanks Lexus for your quick service. Didn't even finish my coffee Lol

I had the same issues with the microphone and SOS after I bought my 2018 NX used...detached the negative on the battery as other users indicated for 10 minutes and everything is operational in CarPlay and it even prompted some updates. I also got that warning sign and it disappeared after driving it to the store. Thank you!
