Default Cloning TPMS

I need to buy another set of TPMS for my winter/summer switch over setup and I don't want to be having to reprogram them every season when I switch tires over because I do them myself.

What are my options and how does it work? I'm in Canada, so there's no TireRack or anything around me.

Just buy an Autel TS501 and you can reset the id's yourself (it can talk to the ECU, not just a reader). That's the route I went since I like doing my own swaps too and over the lifetime of the device will easily pay for itself versus having someone else do it.

Uploading the TPMS ID's when I do the winter/summer tire changeovers takes only a couple of minutes per vehicle with my fairly inexpensive ATEQ Quickset programming tool. Maybe I'll do cloning someday but that comes with it's own issues. The Autel tools are superior but make sure you get the one you need if you go that way. A friend keeps buying one Autel after another but he seems to regard TPMS as a hobby and his "family fleet" is pretty big. I think he sold his Quickset and old Autel tools on Craigslist.

I’d consider this option but those parts are fairly expensive in Canada. I’d be looking at $300+ for the tool and $200+ for TPMS sensors.

I know occasionally the sensors won’t read a number, but as long as I don’t get a light that pops up I’m fine

Thanks. Creeped your profile and also ordered Replika R224 rims lol. Love the OEM RX350 F sport look, and I'd rather have 18"
