This car is no end of irritation to me - but I'm stuck with it until the lease is up. One of the most irritating things is that when I turn the car off and open the driver door I get a "Door open" with audible alert. Well. Yes. I'm getting out of the car. Also the annoyance that I have to wait until all passenger doors are closed until I can lock the car. My previous car (Audi Q5, oh how I miss it!) you could lock the car and all doors that weren't closed would lock when they were shut and there was no beep. Anyone know how to solve this?

 

If I shut off engine prior to removing seat belt, no chime.
Or you can press the door jam button to cancel the chime.
