I went to the grocery store the other night, got out and locked my doors like always. When I came back I hit the unlock button on my key but the door wasn't unlocking, I then tried to manually unlock it but it only turns to a certain point until it gets "stuck" for lack of better words. I can see the lock on the inside attempting to unlock, but when I hit the unlock button, the lock on the door quickly returns to the lock position.

I've tried locking/unlocking it and nothing works. Is there another way to get the door open?

Any help appreciated!

 

I'll add that it doesn't open from the inside or outside.

 

yours is jus tlike mine but it can....open from the inside but it still need to be fixed.

You may have broken a small clip that is attached to a rod that helps unlock the door.

Part was like 6-7 bucks?
Your able to open it from the inside not the out i believe.

 

yeah both sides don't even work, I was just wondering if there is a way to get the door open some other way. I need to get the panel off and the door open to fix this somehow!

 

Unbolt the drivers seat and you MAY be able to get the door panel off....I've had to do that on a couple cars in the past....I'm 1-1 for destroying door panels in the process so be careful.
