Locking car doors
So this is just a pet peeve of mine, but is there a way to make the car doors lock without having all the doors closed? When one door is open and I try locking, it just beeps until it's closed.
I know BMW cars can lock with the FOB key without waiting for every single door to be closed.
thanks!

Its a security issue. If someone leaves the car and doesn't close his door all the way (and thinks he did close it all the way) then proceeds to lock the car, the car should tell him a door is open and he should close it. What's the point of a locked door if the door isn't closed?

You have to lock the door from the inside door lock switches if you want to lock the door before all other doors are closed. From the outside door handle you'll get the beep noise.
I just went out to make sure. Opened the drivers door, opened the rear drivers side door, locked the doors from the inside lock button, closed the drivers door, then closed the rear door. All doors are locked and the alarm is set.
