I special ordered a new NX 2018 Hybrid. I had the 2015, and I have really enjoyed it. The reason for the special order was that I wanted a red interior, which is not standard.

I assumed that a remote trunk release was standard. I was wrong, and didn't realize it until after I got the car home.

Does anyone know of an aftermarket retrofit?

 

What? Are you saying there is no release button on your key fob, and/or there is also no release button below your steering wheel on the left side?

^ That means it doesn't have a power liftgate. It's a manual push button at the rear. I was interested in purchasing a '15 F-Sport, and luckily I caught that it didn't have a power lifegate.

 

In 2015, the power lift gate was an option, I assume it still is. I don’t know of an aftermarket kit to add that.

 

Your 2015 and 2018 NX300h both need the "LL" Luxury Package to get:
Leather rather than NuLux seats, Wood trimmed interior, Rain Sense wipers
Power rear liftgate with kick sensor.
