Default Beefier Tire

Hi, All.

Was wondering if anyone knew how to get some more room with your fenders? I was considering removing the plastic OEM fender flares, and getting some that maybe give me a slightly larger wheel well that flare out a bit so I can fit a wider/beefier tire over my stock wheels.

Anyone know of anybody who have done this with their NX?

Let me know,
Joey

Several of us have used 255/55R18 on a stock size with no issues. Any larger would throw off the speedo and gearing. If you use spacers, you maybe able to use a wider tire, but on the stock rim with, the tire may not set properly.

If your into widebody, check out AndreyVolk's work.. he has a custom widebody kit on his NX

AFAIK, it was a custom build. If you follow his instagram he has the build process in it. It is one of the wildest builds i've seen to date!

The one he has on this picture is not custom. It's from aimgain, artisan also has makes them too. Andrey new bodykit is a custom widebody kit from the ground up and it ain't for sale.

Found this while doing a search for beefier tires on a NX as I was also wondering the same thing. I contacted the person, and they said the tire size is 235/60/18 with front wheel 18x8 and rear 18x9. It doesn't look too bad at all and looks like the 4x4 look.

That looks good! I as well will be going for a 4x4 look once my lease is up!
