Default New Side mirror programming

Wife lost a fight with a mailbox and took out the passenger side mirror on her 2015 NX. Im going to replace the entire assembly but am worried about programming the new mirror to the cars computer. It is the one that has all the bells and whistles. Is there something special required or is the mirror plug and play? BTW....the dealer wants $1056 to replace.

Does the whole mirror need to be replaced or just the outer mirror cover? I recently had a similar situation with a wall and damaged the outer corner and turn signal light on an ES. Luckily they sell the mirror covers painted. Took less than 10 minutes to change out. Plenty of OEM parts website that sell parts at a significant discount compared to dealer parts department. Maybe you can salvage the inner parts and avoid changing out the entire mirror?

UPDATE: Got the mirror in and works perfectly with no need for programming.
