factory maintenance at elk miles

hi,

i am planning on a road trip and thinking to do 5k service at 4k and do the 10k at 10k , but i am wondering wether it will do any bad to the car as i am extending the service to 6k miles rather than 5k miles....

If the road trip will happen before or at 5,000 miles, I would take it in before the trip. If that is not possible, then you should check all you fluids and tire pressure before the trip.

it depends how long is the trip, at 5k there is only tire rotation, and general inspection (fluids, brakes...)
