My rx450h has a little over 4600 miles and it doesn't have the reminder coming up that my service is about due. Is this normal? All of my other Lexus would start displaying the warning 500 miles before the service was due. Also with the service connect is the desler supposed to call to schedule the appointment? Either way I plan on bringing it in this weekend. Thanks for any insight

 

I thought first service was at 10K miles?

 

First service is 10,000 miles (16,000 km). The 5000 mile service is only a check up.

 

The dealer sets the reminder to come on every 5K miles. Major services (I.e., oil change, brake fluid, tire rotation, etc.) are performed at 10K miles intervals. The 5K miles intervals are inspections and tire rotations, which is not necessarily needed to be performed at the dealer.
