Default service interval

I'm curious to know what mileage intervals you guys are bringing your vehicles in at for service? We drive a lot of miles and since we purchased the car in March, we have about 13k miles already. It seems that the owners manual says every 5k miles, it should be brought for service. I've looked on the maintenance schedule and it seems like the 5k miles intervals don't really have much done. 10k mile intervals have oil changes and 15k mile intervals have a minor service where it's mainly just inspections. the 30k mile intervals have all of the major services. The reason why I ask is because if we take it in every 5k miles, we'd be bringing the car in every month and a half or so. On our previous RX300, which went to over 220k miles, we would take it in every 7500 miles. I'm thinking of stretching it out to every 10k miles on the 450h. What are your thoughts?

5K is basically tire rotation
10K is oil change and tire rotation

If you are easy on your tires, I say yes on waiting till 10

I go in to the Toyota dealer with my own oil and filter every 7,500 miles even though I can easily get it done at 10k. Only costs $15 for labor. The reason for me is I drive at least 28,000 miles a year so I feel more comfortable with the 7,500 interval.

For normal service (not warranty) I use the Toyota dealer as well. Same service, about half the price or less. I do get the 5K service done which is rotating the tires and checking everything over. 10K for the oil change.
