They are LED. The RX comes standard with LED headlights and has the option for Premium Triple-L LED headlights.

Thanks, I thought the triple LED's were the only LED option.

They are all LED. A lot of people are thrown off because the projector-style headlights are usually for HIDs and LEDs usually have some custom housing/projector.

Default Aimed higher!

So last night I finally adjusted/re-aimed my headlights up. I did 20 notches up (counter clockwise) from where I was originally at and it made a world of difference. I can see much further down the road. I don't think it's aimed too high, I took it for a spin (about 15 minutes) to see if anyone would high beam me, but so far no one. At red lights, I was behind Corolla sized vehicles and the cut off line does not even hit the lower part of their back window. I will continue to observe anyone high beaming me.

Is it possible for you to take a photo of the screw that you need to adjust?

Top view of the engine bay on the left side.
Closer up where the adjustment screw is.
This is how you insert the screwdriver to turn the adjustment screw.

Close up of the adjustment screw.
Here's how to adjust it.

Did you adjust while the SUV is on and after it auto-leveled or while the truck was off?

I am jealous: I see your NX has headlights washer. This option is not available in the US!

Why are you jealous of headlight washers? They kill the body lines and have no purpose for everyday drivers.

And they spray dirty water with dried bug guts all over your wheels and paint

I really wish they put on the same type as the CT where it is just a small rectangular cover that pops up under washer pressure, exposing the nozzle.

If you noticed in those pics of the screws / slots to adjust the height of the lights up & down, that off white nut on the back is for a socket! I just used a 1/4" small socket wrench to adjust my headlights / triple
headlights. Much easier than using the screw driver turns!
When I got my F sport, the lights were very low. The right one was VERY low, so I turned them up & lined them up against a wall & they are WAY better & no "High beam" flash flashes at me
from on coming traffic. I haven't notice blinding any one when I'm behind them, so all is good. I think they must ship these SUV's w/ low adjusted LED's because they are so powerful! Hope this helps
someone!

I was thinking of using my socket wrench but saw plastic and didn't want to risk breaking it with the torque. I should have though, the screwdriver was a pain! 20 turns with the screwdriver and took it out for a 20 minute spin and yes, a world of difference. They seem to be adjusted a bit high based on the cutoffs but so far no one high beaming me back and the cutoff doesn't hit the drivers in front of me.
