Car insurance is based on many things , male- female , age , location and credit ratings , accidents , claims and whether you own a home and have a garage also mileage to work.

With immigrants getting licenses and not getting insurance ...if you live in that area insurance will be going up. Everything is based on statistics.

NX is probably harder to steal in the AWD version too. Harder to tow.

 

This may be an old thread but this very morning my Lexus NX 2018 was stolen from a carpark in Moraira in Spain. No break in, so presumably they were able to clone my key somehow. Of course I was never warned by the dealer that this could happen or I would have bought a Krooklok. Seriously Lexus, this is just not good enough.

 

A lot of thefts are by tow truck.
As for steering wheel locks/clubs. We saw an attempted theft. The steering wheel and club were on the floor and different steering wheel was put on. The car was saved by a hidden kill switch
