Hello all

Wife picked up a non nav nx last night. She loves it. Question she can receive texts and have them read from other iphones but not my andriod.

Is this an apple issue or a Lexus issue

I have an android phone as does my wife and they work fine.

What software version of android are you running, I know we are both on 5.x releases.

Also what phone are you using, we both have Samsung's, she has an S4 and I have an S5.

Why would it be an apple issue if the problem is with an android phone?

I think he is saying that his wife has an iPhone and can recieve and view texts on her NX from other iPhone users. However, when he texts her from his android phone, she cannot view those texts on the NX.

 

This may very well be the difference between an iMessage (sent by an iDevice) and a text message (sent from everywhere else).

 

Ahh that makes more sense, and yet another reason I will never own an apple phone, to many proprietary things going on!
