Anyone else having issues with the new iOS not displaying artwork anymore and not allowing you to control your music on phone from the car?

Anyone know how to fix this? Can the iOS be rolled back?

 

The iOS cannot be rolled back. I mean there are ways but it's not worth it. But I have a iPhone 7 with iOS 11 and it's working the same. The only issue I see is that it doesn't read the time left on the song accurately, on bluetooth. Maybe if you do a backup and restore on the iPhone? Or forget phone on the Lexus and add the phone again.

 

I updated to IOS 11 and the artwork works fine. My problem on my Lexus was it won’t play some songs. Had to restore my phone to get it to start working. Did you update iTunes as well? The new update got rid of the App Store.

 

Update iTunes? The new update still has the App Store. It's just redesigned.

 

For now you can roll back to iOS 10.3.3 before Apple blocks it. Normally you can roll back before Apple started releasing newer incremental iOS 11 updates. It's already on iOS 11.0.2 so better do the rollback now.

 

After the 8 announced Apple redid iTunes you don’t have the App Store anymore. So I can only load and update the Apps on my phone. They also got rid of a way to keep tones. I have to hand transfer my tone to my phone.

OP is from Canada with (what I assume) a Canadian vehicle. No Gracenote updates north of the border.
It was suggested that Gracenote updates may be in the OS updates for the unit, but it was not confirmable.

 

well you can find option to update gracenote in the stereo settings but where to get the update bin file is the issue. (the case with USA models also)
