Default Mirror Positions

I have read the mirrors will automatically adjust downwards when in reverse but are they linked/move with the memory seat positions as well?
Thanks

Yes, in a way: The "standard" mirror positions are remembered by the seat memory. Next, when in Reverse you can adjust the mirrors to where you like them when in reverse. This is then remembered as an "adjustment amount from 'standard' position".

Does that make sense?

As long as the **** is turned to either L or R, it won't work in the middle position.

ok but that doesn't make much sense. the middle position should signal tilt down on reverse.

Yup, this is just the way it is with other Lexus models as well as other brands.

When you put the NX in reverse do the mirrors tilt down? If so, then I would guess that they can be adjusted and remember that difference from the "normal" position. If they don't move in reverse, then no.

^^^ Correct in that the reverse mirror tilt-down function is only available with the memory seats system. Same with every other Lexus.

Necro bump, but found this thread when searching for a mirror issue. My 2020 NX300 does NOT have the seat memory option but the mirrors WILL tilt down in reverse. Must have been a configuration change between 2015-2020.
