Default Does Anyone Know Details about the Sound System?

So I have searched high and low for details on the NX Audio System...

All I can find is that there are 2 US versions and a ML version (not sold in the US).
The ML system is highly advertised and full of info( if I had this then I probably wouldnt even consider an upgrade).

The 8 and 10 speaker Pioneer systems have almost nothing. Other than the number of speakers and channels on the amplifier. There is no info on how many watts produced or what load (ohms) the speakers are providing.

Has anyone taken a look to see the power on each speaker?
Which speakers are wired in series/parallel?
The load (ohms) each speaker is putting on the amp?

Are they weird loads like 3, 6 or 8ohm etc. or are they more typical 2 and 4ohm loads. I am hopping the latter so one can just drop in after market replacements with out messing with the amplifier. I just want a little better quality not looking to do an overhaul.

if no one has checked or done an upgrade then it looks like I will be doing a write up on the Audo System when I take delivery on mine

I haven't removed any body panels yet but would also be interested in knowing the specs and if you will be doing a audio writeup.

bookmarking this thread!

Someone really needs to do this!

I'm pretty sure the Lexus sound system and mark levinson isn't going to be as good as your aftermarket stuff. Also, is it true that the sub is located on the drunk door?

One more thing, if a person gets an aftermarket in dash, will their lexus enform stop working as well?

Does anyone know where the amp is located? I am thinking of replacing with a 5 channel with little more power. Also get some nicer speakers.

I am also interested in the location of the amp. I would love to tap a powered sub into it.

And it seems that the pioneer amplifier is a class D

ramses974, I have had powered Bazooka Tubes in other cars and really like them. They are compact and really easy to install. https://www.southernaudioservices.com/Tubes.aspx

You can add one and if that is not enough bass, you can daisychain a passive tube off of the amplified one.

I can affirm you that the bazzooka work very very well, as i already installed one last 5 years in an Hilux but i am going to another solution as 2x TSW 12 PRS Pioneer , but as i said , the bazooka are very good

I would be interested to know if any of our international members (outside North America) could share the configuration and layout of the ML system. I'd be interested in mimicking the setup..if possible.
