Default Stereo Upgrade

Since I don't have the ML audio, I'm debating whether or not it’s worth upgrading any of my stereo components. Has anyone upgraded any of the stereo stuff?

Just to clarify, I’m not looking to resign my entire audio setup, nor am I looking to spend a whole lot of cash doing it. I’m just wondering if you guys have done any simple audio upgrades to the stock system to improve the sound. I mean the sound is not bad, but I used to have the BOSE system in my Infiniti and can notice a difference between that and what I have now in the Lexus.

Another question I was wondering is since there is no speaker in the front dash where the ML would have had a speaker, can we put a speaker in that "fake" speaker slot?

Here is what I did. I know you said you didn't want to do an entire system but I added new 3 way speakers up front with an amp and I added a speaker ( no speaker in center dash hole). Might give you an idea. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/lex...with-pics.html

Your setup looks pretty crazy. I don't think I will go all out like you did, but definitely i think my sub woofer needs an upgrade, and possibly the 3 way speakers up front with an amp, and maybe the speaker in the dash hole. What kind of speaker did you put in the dash hole? from my understanding the ML system used only a tweeter in that dash hole?

I listed all products at the start of the thread. It's a Hertz 4" full range speaker powered by its own amp.
