It's been a long time since we arrange meeting here in NY at our favorite (or at least mine) Floyd Bennett Field..

How about another one, while it's not so cold yet?

 

If I remember correctly, Dennis (VSsc400) mentioned that the FBF venue is being or has been constructed into a sports complex or something like that. I have not been back over there since our October meet from last year.

 

that is correct. they are turning it into a sportsplex... and no meets can be held there.

 

i go there every now and then for some other reasons i run my HPI car there and i saw they building something but i didn't know what it was.. but in any case..

HOW ABOUT A MEET??

 

If you have a place/spot/location in mind somewhere in Queens or Brooklyn (SC and IS owners there can vouch for me ), and are willing to organize a meet between now and like the end of next month, I'd be interested I met a few others like DGOT20s and RI-GS4, and they would like to have a meet held in NYC sometime before it gets cold.

I don't know many places around Queens and Brooklyn, so if anyone is from there and could help out, please post up Don't mention King's Plaza as that was already tried out and ended up sketchy...
