New Yorkers..
Hey. I'm planning to do my timing belt/water pump can anybody recommend a decent shop that worked with Lexus GS' before. I'm gonna supply my own parts so all I need from them is labor. Can somebody please tell me what I should expect to pay for this. Bay Ridge Lexus told me 1050$ (7 hours of labor @ 150/hr)

You can ask for Mike at Andy's Auto on Sunrise Highway in Baldwin. Right next door to speedworld. If I recall correctly its about $350-400 for a timing belt/waterpump job if you provide your own parts. Mike will do the job right also, no need to worry there.
Bay Ridge said 7hours of labor??? I think alldata or mitchell spec'd it as a 3.5hour job.
If you're gonna go with the dealership the Rallye pricing looks pretty competitive... I believe its the same that the people at Westbury Toyota were charging.
