viper 791XV pager range in nyc?

Anyone using this alarm with pager feature in NYC?
I am interested in the realistic range for the pager function in NYC environment.
Also any pros and cons to this alarm unit.

Bill,
honestly range is almost fictional, I mean there is now way it works 1/4 mile like DEi tells us it works. Realistically you should get up to 500 ft depending on interference and what not.

Sooooooooooo many things affect range but for the most part it works really well.

Viper is one of the best in the alarm business. Prestige has a system with the pager but i am skeptical about Audiovox products. I have Viper on my truck. It works real well and i have it with the works, and will be getting that on the GS.

You can't go wrong with any DEI products. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...ight=angelslex .Instead of the Viper use the hornet 564 and you will get an extra remote and is cheaper.
