Well as some of you know i was in a accident on Tuesday Morning. I was on my way to work and an Expedition decided to go the opposite way and have a head on collision with us. It was a total of 4 cars in the accident. I was the last car. The driver of the expedition was going so fast that it was a domino effect when he hit one car. I was the last car so it really didnt have as much impact as the others. The first car he hit the engine ended up inside the car and they had to use the jaws of life to get the driver out. The car that is flipped over is the Expedition. The worst part about is.. We was at a red light!!! From the pictures it looks like i ran into the back of the Honda but i didnt. The expedition hit the Honda so hard that it plowed the front of my car. My back and neck is all jacked up. Now im just waiting for police report so i can see what the hell they are going to do about my car. Im pretty sure they are going to total it out since its an old car with alot of miles on it. Sucks because i just put the new front bumper on like 2 weeks ago No worries if they do decide to total out my car i have my eye on this clean SC

Glad you're OK.....hope the idiot in the Exp pays through the nose! Car my not be totaled..... Keep an eye out for your neck and back. It will get worst in the next day or so.....not an easy fix to the body when dealing with the neck/back. Trust me, I know......

Thanks guys. I was talking to the shop that has the car right now and they told me the insurance may just total because its an 01 with 120k on the dash. Who knows if the frame is twisted and what else is damaged. Mark they gave me all types of meds for the time being. I have a few doctors appointments coming up as well for my neck and back.

 

Maybe you should look to sue the driver at fault and see if you can get away with a nice settlement. There should be lawyers that would be willing to take on the case for free if you split the settlement 30/70.

Sorry to hear about your accident. I hope i'm wrong, but that looks like a total loss to me....

When i was hit i suffered from neck and knee (steering wheel collapsed on me) injuries, and to this day it affects me. Make sure you get everything checked out, and thoroughly so.
