DC, MD and VA should meet up here and wait for the PA/NY/NJ guys. It'll take around 4 hours to get to VA Beach.

Keeno, I don't mean to be an azz, but I thought we were meeting to also grab a bite to eat. I know we're not eating breakfast/lunch at Popeye's, right?

So, can we meet at a nearby Chick Fil A, or a Diner, or even a Starbucks instead?

And I'd rather just meet at one of these places at 11, as opposed to meeting at that Popeye's, waiting for peeps to arrive, and then caravaning to a nearby place.

I only said popeyes b/c I know it's there. I don't know the status of the springfield mall area and I would rather find a large open parking lot for everyone.

There is a SUBWAY in that shopping center also. There's also a FIVE GUYS down the street. Anyone can just grab what they want and just meet back at the spot before we head out. I wouldn't recommend a sit-down place, just grab and go se we can dip out hopefully around 11:45, no later than noon.

 

Sounds like a plan. And Subway is always a safe-bet, so we should be straight.

This sounds like a plan. A few of us will be leaving from my place (North Jersey) at 5am and scooping up a few members at the end of the NJ Turnpike and in the Baltimore area before arriving at the meetup location. I anticipate arriving on time or hopefully even earlier (as long as traffic cooperates) since we'll be on the road so early.

 

Its also holiday weekend so it may be some type of traffic. (mothers day weekend)

 

Wish my car was where I want it to be to make this event...oh well catch you guys on '14

 

And of course, I'm going to bail again this year. I even prepaid my registration back in January lol.
