Hey guys,

My name is Evan and I just wanted to pop in and introduce myself. I recently bought a 2001 IS 300 and am very pleased with it.

I've wanted one since they came out and couldn't be happier to be an IS owner now.It actually turned into a bit of a birthday present for myself. I turned 24 on Monday and picked it up Tuesday.

I live in Pittsburgh and decided to introduce myself in the NELOC forum because I'd like to be as active as I can be in a Lexus car club. Plus this forum has had a lot of good information for me while I was shopping around.

I took a look at the NELOC schedule and am really going to try to make it to the show in OC this June.

If anyone has any questions for me(what I plan to do with the car, how I heard about NELOC, etc.) I'd be happy to answer them for you.

Welcome brother! Let me know about OC asap. There is also a great show on May 1st which will be a day trip or just an overnight in Frederick.

 

May 1 sounds good. OC maybe a bit doubtful now, but I'm working on somethings to make that happen. Let's just hope my lucky streak continues.

Thanks guys. First on my agenda is the stereo. Sadly my 6-disc changer likes to load CDs more than play them. I've been going back and forth with myself over a CarPC. I haves few machines around I think I may want to incorporate but I'm still weighing my options. After that will be tints wheels tires and springs in no particular order
