Default Any Experience with Dr Color Chip?

YES I have searched and did find the reviews on CL about this product. I want to find out if anyone local to DC MD or VA has used this product and the subsequent results, good or bad, and if it was worth the cost and effort.

Thanks in advance.

a couple of guys from my.is did this and so did I. It isn't perfect, but it's way better than the paint pens:

sure thing, i guess the standard kit is the one most people go with; basic, standard, pro (or something to this effect)???

they are the different sizes - website explains how many applications each size will take care of. i think the 50 dollar one is your best bet if you have a lot of chips like i do. from what i have read, it takes a few applications to fill in a decent sized chip correctly. i coat works, but does not fill to the same level as the existing paint. evidently you must apply a few thin coats to get real good results. here is the thread:

Thanks all for the responses. I'll bite the bullet and order it and maybe do a show and tell on the forum. Most of my damage is road rash on lowers due to tracking it. Ill dig up paint code and do this when the humidity isnt so crazy.

If anyone is interested in turning this into a NELOC event please let me know and I will schedule something. PLUS i could use all the moral support I could get these kinds of projects dont tend to go well with me when it comes to me and paint.

lol. i am also thinking of repainting the whole front end. i have a few spots where the clear is starting to bubble. depends on price of course, but a friend owns a shop so hopefully it would be resonable. paintmatching would be difficult i would think with the metallic paint i have. don't want to sink much more money into a car that i won't keep 3 years, though. let me know what you decide, and if the results are worth the trouble i most likely will go the same route. i'm all for a group event for this - always nice to have the support and help.
