Fender Pulling ?
Has anyone had their rear fenders pulled ? I have springs and I want to get the GS dropped before the spring shows start. I'm going to shave the fender lip to see if I can stop the rubbing.
• Who does work like this preferably the DC area ... but will travel to a shop that has experience pulling GS rear fenders.
• How much did it cost ?
Thanks,
DaveC

If you have information that can benefit this member that's fine but do not come on here offering services and blatantly putting prices up for those services. This can be considered a formal warning in regards to it. Thank you. Dave , it all depends on what wheel offsets you have. You may want to give some more info inregards to it. You may not even need to do anything. what are the wheel size + offsets ?

I can tell you how we did it on the race cars. Jack up the car until the tire drops away from the body. Insert a spare jack handle or other sturdy metal tube between the tire and fender. Then lower the jack until it starts to put pressure on the tube. Roll it around the fender, pushing down on the end to bend the lip up. Go slow or you will mess up the paint. You don't want to cut the inner lip off the fender because that creates a razor sharp edge and it won't hold its form as well. I did this on the rear fenders of 2 GS cars and at least 5 IS cars without a problem.
