Fender Pulling ?
I can tell you how we did it on the race cars. Jack up the car until the tire drops away from the body. Insert a spare jack handle or other sturdy metal tube between the tire and fender. Then lower the jack until it starts to put pressure on the tube. Roll it around the fender, pushing down on the end to bend the lip up. Go slow or you will mess up the paint. You don't want to cut the inner lip off the fender because that creates a razor sharp edge and it won't hold its form as well. I did this on the rear fenders of 2 GS cars and at least 5 IS cars without a problem.
Don't do it, I've seen some of those baseball bat fenders and they aren't pretty. If you're in DC, Chris should only be about 30 to 40 mins north. Straight shot on B/W Parkway and you get off at 198 East.
18" X 8.5 +35 245/40/18 Dunlop Sportmax up front
18" X 9.5 +35 275/35/18 Dunlop Sportmax on the rear
I have no rubbing issues up front, the rear passenger side rubs slightly when I have a full car and hit a good jounce (i.e. a dip at speed) no rubbing at all on teh rear driver's side.

I was running a little more aggressive offsets. I had no rubbing issues in the rear but i was on coilovers and yes i had a drop. I did roll my front though. I was running 245/35/19 - 275/30/19
One of the last flicks of my ride...
Those are semi conservative offsets to be honest. sound like the issue is with your suspension not your wheels. What are you on? stock, springs or coilovers?

If I shave then there's no way to pull it in the future (rolling is eliminated because there's nothing to roll anymore), right ?
Thanks for all the advice guys !

If you decide to use the bat method, be ready to take the car to the body shop. Paint chip will be in your future IMO. GL
I have to agree ......... rolling the fenders on a 2gs is hard . but is also possible. You can't rush it at all you have to really take your time and keep heat on the fenders with a heat gun . The front is easier than the rear. some prefer a shave in the rear . I myself couldnt bare to cut any kind of metal off my car LOL. So I took the roll route and do not regret it all . I have to say Mr Mark is the roll king. Here are some pics to prove it. When I get a chance I will take some better shots of the rear fenders.

Suspension is stock. I need to get this rubbing issue resolved before I try to drop it on springs (non-coilover). I don't know what the toe spec is right now I'll have to dig up the last alignment sheet.

Yes, you can shave and then roll. When you roll it, you can use it to "push" out the fender instead of "folding" or rolling the lip of the fender.
Here's a video showing you how you roll a fender...

If you don't have access to a fender rolling machine but you have hammers you can do it the way they did it in this video. As far as the baseball method... just check out how they did it using a pipe (around 4:25 in the video).
I still laugh everytime I see this video.
