OK guys,, I know I have been pretty quiet lately, but life has been pretty hard for me for these past few months; and to top it all off,, MY LS GOT SICK!!!!!! I guess, right now, I just need to vent a little, so please bear with me.

Firstly,, I had wierd spots popping up all over the car. Took it to the bodyshop, and had it diagnosed,,,,


Next it was found to be contagious,, so it was QUARANTINED!!!!!



Aaannndddd,, after a little over a month,,, was made all better,,,



Yes folks,,, the LS caught a case of MONO!!!!! Monotone that is!!!! LOL!!!!

and as an extra added bonus,, I decided to kick it up one more notch,,,,,

hey tony, ur LS400 emblem is off, the LS is higher than ur 400. didnt u measure?

 

Hadnt even noticed that. Thnk it might just be the camera angle, becuase everything went back into the original holes that were there(that emblem is screwed in). Will have to step outside to double check if that was the case. Thought about shaving them completely off, but is gonna be a lil while before I start to mod the rear end of the car.

After parking next to the Batmobile, at Carlisle, I had to step it up a little. To see his black(all shiny, glossy,,just blingin), and then looking at my own scarred, weather beaten, aged black on my own car; it truly put me to shame. Now,, photographers,,,,I AM READY FOR MY CLOSE UP!!!!! SHOOT AWAY!!!!!

edit-- Joe, went and checked. The emblems are straight. it was the camera angle.

 

Do you that LS is sick. Can't wait to see it in person. What's next?

looks good, have you thought about adding clearbra on the front to protect the new paint?

 

Gazi,, I am thinking of the clearbra method but I have heard both good and bad things about it (long term effects), so am weighing the options out. I need to take it back for a few places that need to be wet sanded again and retouched. May just look into a removable bra for when I road travel. Being that I am on the road most of the time, the car is pretty much a parking lot queen anyway.

Guys, thank you soo much for all of the compliments. I really appreciate them, and can FINALLY not be embarassed to be shown with you guys. There will be a few more mods, just taking the time to carefully plan them out. Not to mention, that for me money IS an object, LOL!!!
