White smoke is generaly a coolant leak of some sort. The coolant was hitting the headers and burnig off, thus causing the smoke. Did you bust a hose? Are you losing coolant? Any leaks, anywhere?? In the worse case scenerio, you may have blown the head gasket (extreme worse case). In any regards, no this is not normal. Tranny fluid and coolant (when burning) smell almost the same.

On a different note, not trying to be big brother here, your speed as well as the speed of most others here needs to be slowed . Yeah we all have Lexus' and they are capable of adrenaline rushing speeds; but we also need to be conscious of the safety of not only YOU but others as well. The life you save may be your own, not to mention, your pockets will be alot happier not having to dish out all of that money for tickets. LOL!!!

+1... Check your coolant hoses, run the car to operating temps and check exhaust area. Keep us posted, and yes slow down a bit..
Speeding tickets + Insurance increase= $$$$

Were you paying attention to you TEMP gauge? Did you see any fluctuation occur during that time?

When you were at the meet, did you open your hood to show off your engine?
