Muahahaha. Turbo is on order. Gonna order intercooler today after I take some more measurements. Going to try to get the battery moved IF it warms up at all next week. Then we're gonna take some test fits and start making the pipes and weld a bracket to hold the turbo in.
Only parts I'm really missing now are fittings and 2 injectors from a 7MGTE engine.
Thanks for the links carlos checkin them out now.
1loud, you should see the condition of the car. Rust spots, mismatched paint, dents, scratches galore, bird **** stains. It really is the ultimate sleeper right now. haha.

So you are going to mount your turbo where the battery currently is...kind of like Tony the Tiger's Camry?
With my turbo idea, I plan to mount it behind the engine at the juncture of the exhaust manifolds for Banks 1 and 2...right before the main cat, following by some piping back over to an intercooler on the passenger side of the engine...that piping will probably be the biggest PITA.

It will be in the same spot, but my friend who is helping me said that he has another idea so I'm going to check out his sketches and see what he has planned.
Also the intercooler I'm going with has both outlets on the same side rather than one on each side.
Wow yours sounds like the piping will really be a pain. GL with that!

My first thought on the intercooler was to put it on the same side, but now I am almost 90% convinced to put it on opposite sides.
One odd idea I had was having an entrance at the top of the intercooler and exit on the right side...I have seen a few intercoolers like that. Then, I would be able to put all the piping on the side where the air box would be (driver's side).
Luckily, labor is cheap down here. My uncle and I are considering doing most of the work and then having a friend who works on turbo vehicles do the tuning.

Yea I know which intercooler you're talking about.
I'm hoping the guy that we're going to is cheap with the labor too. From what my friend has told me he's a very good guy and will definetly hook him up.
