Default Best Battery???

My battery is officially dead...was late to work today, waiting for a jump start.

What battery should i replace it with?

Will one of those costco ones work fine?

Should i get an optima, are those worth the extra money?

Thanks.

My Costco only has the Red Top.

I picked up the Yellow top from Kragen auto parts.

I think its worth the money if you have after market stereo and you are concerned about deep cycling the battery often.

I'm going to be in the market for a new battery as well. So if your car is just stock, go for the optima red top? Aren't they a little smaller than the stock fit? I could get a diehard gold a little cheaper and it'll prob last 5-6 years, so what is the advantage of the dry cell?

i have a Redtop Optima on my car. I dont think its worth the money if you dont have a banging system that sucks lots of juice.

Got the yellow top in my baby. I have a system though. Even if you don't, it can still hold up better for when you leave your lights on. I have left my dome light on for 12 hours, come out in the am, cranks right up.

LexAristo - I won't laugh since I have a $29.99 Wal Mart EverStart, too!

I told my car it's an Optima and so far, it seems to be fooled- starts right up each morning!

Anyone know how many miles the original Lexus battery is supposed to last? What about warranty?

Or Walmart is up to their games again. They have a tendency to raise prices as soon as they get rid of the competition. Even within the same city, different locations will have different prices depending on how much competition is around.
