Don't know about lexus warranties on batteries or how long they should last but mine was almost 7years old 62,000 miles and one day it turned over kinda slowly but was still operating o.k. thought better get a new one your living on borrowed time
for $40, walmart battery may be the best for what you pay for and should work very well too.
Optima is a better built battery, but you may not see its benefit because you just don't need it for normal car. So it is up to you, if you got the bacon and want "brand name" stuff then Optima is what you need, it may not be the best battery technology ever, but it's one of the most popular in the "brand" market
If you gonna get a Die hard Gold for 80 bux, then I would rather get an Optima Red top for $120
I used Red top in several cars for 3-4 years already, with high power sound system too, work fine for me.
