Default Batteries :(

So i have been in college for the last one and a half months and my car has been sitting. I am going home next weekend and was told that she won't start becasue my battery is dead. duh. Just wondering what is the best Brand of battery. (on a side note, the battery was the original from 1992 so i guess it lived its life, just goes to show you that lexus know how to make things last.)
thanks guys

If you plan to keep the car longer, I agree Optima.

If your budget is tight, I would go with duralast from autozone I think their best battery (GOLD is like $60). Best battery and price and from my experiences, they Have more CCA and CA than most $100+ batteries out there. I would only get optima if you have some aftermarket accessories that suck up excess juice, isnt neccessary if you just trying to maintain a stock car, plus gives you more amps than your stock battery already.

I would also suggest to look for sealed (also called maintainance free). These dont let out crossive fumes.

Optimas are sealed type, but may not be a drop-in replacement.
