Question flashing AC light

Not sure what it means, but two times now I have been driving with the AC set at about 70 degrees
and I start to feel warm air being blown by the vents I looked down and noticed my AC light was flashing. I would turn it off and back on again and that would fix the problem. I think one if not both times it happened I was driving through heavy downpours with water about 1-2" deep on the road. I don't know if maybe water splashed up on the compressor of if it was just a coincedence.

thanks

Probably the water splash up to the compressor and get in between the compressor clutch and make the AC clutch started to slip.

In the LS a flashing A/C light means a catastrophic failure in the AC system. A bunch of us in the LS forum have been discussing this exact topic. Here are the threads:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...threadid=90573
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...threadid=90397

Those threads should give you some good ideas for your ES, the system are probably similar to the LS.
