Default Devil Dog, AC problem............................

Devil Dog,

Need your expert help on this one. On my 90 LS-400. It started about 2 weeks ago. When I pushed the AC button the AC went on for a few minutes(cold as ever) then I noticed it was blowing warm. I noticed the AC button(little amber light) was blinking/flashing. I reengaged it and all was fine. Then next day same kind of thing. It would go on for a while then the light would blink again and blow warm air. Now it seems to not tirn on at all. The amber light just blinks about every 2 sec.

What do u think? I bet you have seen this before.

Thx, D.K.

I will chime in for DD. I think your compressor revolution sensor goes bad and may be the compressor itseft and the compressor clutch too. That why you got the AC light flashing after a while and you may need to check all the relate components as well( high pressure switch, evaporator+expansion valve and so on...).
Hey, DD, if you read this, ' How are you?'. We miss you around here.

This happened on my 98 es300. The ac compressor and clutch needed to be replaced.
