Hi All. I'm new here and looking to buy my first Lexus. I'm going to test drive a 2009 ES350 w/11k mi in a few days at an independent dealer. It still has about 6 months on the original 4 yr basic warranty and 2 yrs on the powertrain warranty.

Would it be worth getting a PPI since the warranties are still in effect? I thought about getting the PPI just as a negotiating tool to the seller. Also, does anyone know if the Lexus dealerships does just a 27-point PPIs or if the 161-point can be used as a PPI too?
