Default Messed up exhaust stud removal?

Just wondering what I can do to remove these three studs, going to replace them with some better stainless steel bolts and nuts from my local Ace Hardware store...

1 is snapped and all three have bad threads.

Was thinking of picking up the stud removal tool from Harbor Freight but not sure how it's going to turn out. I have the studs soaking in Aero-Kroil for the time being...

yes, either drill em, grind/cut them flush to extract them or use a stud remover.

I'm skeptical on the drilling or cutting... Do you think that removal tool from Harbor Freight will work?

when they are as rusted as yours, you might not have a choice... reality is that it took a lot of twisting to break that stud and if you twisted enough to break a stud but the stud didn't come out, it probably isn't going to come out no matter what you do...

do as Army says - cut the stud off flush, drill it... unless you want, you don't even need to tap it, just put a bolt in from the back... might be a little more difficult to tighten, but still easier than rethreading...
