Default ever had your GS serviced by Longo?

sup fellas,

i'm having my GS serviced this time by longo lexus. this will be the third dealership i'm going to for the low rpm/rough idle issue that we've all heard about. i was wondering if any of you guys have had your car serviced by longo, and if you had the same problem as mine, fixed by them.

i'm bringing my car to Longo only because after i wrote a letter to lexus corporate complaining about this issue that they contacted me and told me to try Longo. hopefully i will have better luck there.

wel..i can only say that MANy gs bros got their cars serviced at Longo..most of us had + experience..(of course there is always exception, as nothing is perfect in life

go in and when the valet greets you, ask for VERONNE and tell him will send you, he takes care many of our rides..

if you don't take ur car to Longo for service you're making a big mistake.

If you take ur car to Longo but not ask for Verone that's another big mistake.

If you go there and ask for Verone and after a while u said his service sucks, another big mistake

many many members on CL knows how well Longo people take care of customers. Other than those people who pull my car up from inside always rev my engine a few times, overall Longo is the BEST. (comparing with Cerritos, Tustin, and West Minster Lexus dealers.)

call Verone for an appointment for friday evening and tell him u want a loaner for the weekend, also u can pick whichever loaner car you want. Last time i went i got the IS300 which i requested it when i made the appointment. I had it over the weekend. Had so much fun with it.

I think Longo Lexus service dept. is the best. I live in San Diego and I take my GS there for service. Just ask for Veronne.

Thumbs down

To each their own.... all I can say is that Longo Service allowed MY very expenisve "certified" SC to drive out of their service department with 225 50 16 series tires, which: 1. caused the car to be too low destroying the front spoiler (they replaced it, but did not check the tire sized as the issue) 2. added unreal miles to my odometer, 3. would have been a disaster if I had an emergency stop condition because the ABS computer was not reading the correct tire rotation... Now granted, I did not know of the problem untill I changed the tires (why would I look at the tire size since it was supposed to be correct?)

BTW, since the tires are the correct circumfrance now, I have not "bottomed out" once.... and the spoiler is still intact.

So for those of you who swear by Longo, good luck, but as far as I am concerned, they did not do the job correctly.... and it could have costed my life!

So long to Longo......
