I just changed my engine mounts on my 1992 SC400, yet my car continues to shake when I attempt to pass or give the car any amount of gas while driving. Also my car jerks violently if I attempt to accelerate fast. Please help.

 

Is the car shake before you change the engine mount? If the car runs good before you did the engine mounts you may broke the air intake tube that connected from the air filter housing to the throttle body because you may jacked up the engine too high.

 

The car shook before I changed the motor mounts. I changed the motor mounts hopeing to stop the shakeing and violent jerking when I accelerate fast.

 

check your drive/propeller shaft and bearings for wear and tear, out of balance
