Default After replacing three motor mounts

1996 LS with 210K miles
I owned this car for 4 years and drove 70K miles.
I replaced all of the three engine mounts with factory part. The cabin is very quiet after the mount replacement. Actually this was the first time I didn't realize that the engine was running and I tried to turn the key and start the car.
The effect of replacing all three mount is beyond expectation.

Did my rear mount today Dashan - woohoo! Smooooooth It really did make a difference.

For the record, I was getting a front vibration at around 60 mph, and I could also feel it bad also whenever I started the car when cold, with the engine speed up there around 2K.

Driver side mount is DIYable. Just take your time.

Did you test drive the thing after changing the rear mount but before the two main mounts? I just want to know if there was any further improvement.

Yes, I replaced the rear mount first, then RH side mount, then LH side mount, at different times.
Replacing two front mounts did get a significant improvement.

Hey Dean, You probably already read this somewhere but when changing the 2 motor mounts, take out the passenger side first. Do the drivers side while that one is out. I guess it's easier b/c the engine moves more and you can get in there better. I haven't done mine yet but that's what I read.

Hello Dean - the car runs so smooth now that I don't think I will bother. The rear mount made all the difference in smoothness, and the egr tube fixed all the chattering noise. A month ago I could have sworn my LS was on its last legs and ready for scrap, but now I have my prior luxury sports car back again!

Hey I'm getting his periodic vibration at speed above 60 mph in the cabin, it's kinda like vibrates then it smoothes out then it vibrates then smoothes out again, the cycle seems slow compared to the vehicle speed so I think it's not wheel imbalance but maybe engine speed. Do you think it's with the rear engine mount? And where would you get this part at? Dealership?
