Leaking power steering pump
Running a '94 SC400 and just recently replaced the power steering with a new pump. I am having a really bad leak on a new power steering pump but I'm not sure what the area is called. I do know that it is opposite of the "high pressure side bolt". I have circled it on a pic of the old pump. Every 2 days or so I will have to fill it back up with fluid. What might the problem be? And how can I fix it?
I do recall that it wasn't easy to get in because of the rubber o-ring, but whether or not it is still in there is unknown until it is all taken apart. Not something I would like to do again. I believe it is a brand new o-ring too. Would there be something else that is causing this problem?
