it seems like it stalling out for a sec it revs up.then jolts. it doesn't happend in my sc its smooth all the way. the ES should be the same.

First thing I'd check would be the tranny fluid. Make sure it's still transparent and reddish.

Also, is this slip worse from a cold start? Or is it about the same (within about 300-400rpms) after it's been warmed up for a 60s+?

The only problem that's sort of concerning me is that you said that "sometimes when in gear driving and he let go of the gas and step on it has a small delay like a second and then u feel the car shifting small jolt"... For me, this is typical on most cars I've driven, even if I'm accelerating slowly then push the pedal to the floor. To give you better acceleration, the transmission may downshift (unless you're in 1st gear, which is dangerous in the first place) and rev to higher RPMs. If the "jolt" isn't all that bad and all he's doing is accelerating quickly, you may not really have a problem after all.

Hope some of this helps.

ok so i just took my car to aamco(sp?) transmissions and they diagnosed my car. they found out my air temp sensor was dirty. so they cleaned it and my problem already sorta went away! they said gonna take a while because they reset the comp. i had NO CEL. so if anything can try get that checked.

peace out

I was thinking bring my SC3 to them because of some grinding sounds and what seems like very slow response time engaging the gears.

the es300's has a new software for the tranny that can be updated....
if you have extended warranty, i suggest you use it.
My girlfriends ES did that too, i took it in for warranty and it fixed the problem. Good luck!
