i posted this in the maintenance section but i think its good to hear from the people that has the ES.

so my bro got a 2000 es300 with about 60k. the problem he has is that sometimes when in gear driving and he let go of the gas and step on it has a small delay like a second and then u feel the car shifting small jolt. one of my friend said it could be engine. sounds like a tranny to me what you guys think? it doesn't happend often.

 

Sounds pretty normal to me. Theres a small lag in downshifts for these trannies.

 

i drove a few other they weren't like that.
