Help me decide which oil
flip a quarter a couple times...
realistically, it's not going to matter... I've ran Mobil 1 for forever, and on more than one car it has made the top end of the engine quieter... I tried Royal Purple, and it ran fine, but the engine was noticeably louder in the valve area (switch back to Mobil1 and quiet again). I've used Castrol Syntec in my wifes car without issue as well, and in my opinion they are the two best easy to get oils... Amsoil isn't bad either, good protection, etc...
So, pick whichever is readily available and at a decent price...
edit: check Wal-Mart for extended life Mobil 1 in the jug for $26 - absolutely cheap... (Extended life Mobil 1 is worth the extra few dollars - more detergents, and it really is longer lasting)

I just got back from Autozone with 5 qts. of Syntec and a Mobile 1 premium filter for $26. The filter normally runs $10. it's like getting Syntec for a little over $3 a quart. hurry because the sale ends March 5th.
Run anything you like.
I've ran Amsoil, Mobil 1, Pennzoil, Schaffer, Royal Purple, etc.. You're not going to get any difference in power/fuel economy and such. It does boost your ego though, when you buy the more expensive stuff
I now run Pennzoil because it's cheaper than the rest, but I was forced to buy mobil 1 because they ran out Pennzoil with the weight I wanted.
