Driver side door lock problem..

Driver side door lock problem..
Hello Lexus Fans.
I have a 03' LX 470 with 36k on it. Just recently I noticed that when you lock it from the alarm button, it doesnt beep anymore, rather I hear the door locks click. I thought at first, that the alarm system was broken. But when you unlock via the alarm, it beeps normal. I checked around the doors and found that when you push the lock buttons on either the keys or inside the suv, the driver side doesnt lock. Only the passenger and side passenger does. Also, it is suppose to lock it automatically when you shift it into gear, but it only locks all but the driver side as well. What could be the problem? Is it covered under the factory warranty? thanks for looking out.

You may have some problem with the driver door lock actuator. Your LX is 4 years/50k miles( which ever comes firsts) which mean if your LX is less than 48 months and less than 50k miles your car is still under warranty. Unless the defected item is caused by accident, water damage or any aftermarket accessory..etc..,
