Hood cable replacement

Default Hood cable replacement
Does anybody have any experience replacing a hood cable, I'm having alot of trouble getting the cable through the firewall, after taking off the fender, please help asap

are you replacing the cable (inner) or the whole thing (sheeth and cable).

I would suggest changing the cable only. Use a dab of glue on the tip to prevent unravelling.

I'm replacing the entire cable from the hood release inside the car to the latch in the engine compartment.

Replacing the outer is not an easy task. Sure you can't live with replacing the inner (wire only).

Can't suggest any thing else.
